I didn't know about the Sparks until my gf invited me to their concert a few months ago, and Never Turn Your Back on Mother Earth really struck me, but Computer Girl's super neat too.

Steve's faces really struck me as very effective at conveying surprise or shock. Give that to a teenager aspiring artist that wanted to learn how to draw 3/4 faces from behind and... it sticked to me since.

It's fun to recognise specific influences on your work when you're drawing, it's like your own personal easter eggs.

I realized that government is evil but thats because it always puts the stronger over the weaker. It is also a tool of capitalist control. Yes, liberty and justice are good but not as mere individual values expressed in capitalist state. Liberty and justice are universal values, requiring solidarity

I can now show off the version of Black Mass that's for this month's Shadowland Lancaster event poster. I'm really proud of how it came together, especially the vine and web framing. Overall my best work to date.

I doubt that it has the same origins, but in french the term "anti-France" originates from the antisemitic far-right that used to call so anybody on the left that dared support the Jews against the attacks they were the targets of.

In either case, this sort of rhetoric should cast shame on Starmer.
