Made it home to Lake Arthur for the first time in a minute. Spending time with my sister, Rosy, and my parents, this time around, was a nourishing one. 🙏🏼

Woke up in a hotel room in Artesia, New Mexico, to the smell of the oil refinery just down the street—which once had such a bad rap, that the town would later market it as the “sweet smell of success.” In all the years I grew up near here, this is my first time waking up with a sweet ass headache.
