Delightful, challenging platformer that wears its DKC inspiration on its sleeve but evolves the mechanics in its own ways. Some of the optional and later challenges can veer into frustrating, but it's wonderful on the whole, with a decent little soundtrack too!

They were very good at the game and were consistently in first place. We had some fun interactions in the lobby and when I posted the "this is my last race" message, they replied with this. Honestly just a super wholesome interaction overall, one I'm gonna remember.

One of the games of all time. The coin gimmick is a little more engaging than it comes off as, but the game is. Fine. Too much recycling. Ghost houses are pretty neat. But the additional vocal backings in the soundtrack are horrible.

Probably my favorite Hyrule Warriors solely due to being engaged with the plot and these characters. Mechanically it's not far off Age of Calamity, and still gets repetitive, but the story drove me and left me with feels.
