I read something once where somebody said that they used to think ADHD only impacted boys and that they usually grew out of it as adults.

When what was really happening is that those boys were getting married and their wives were taking over their executive function.

That stuck with me.

A childhood diagnosis should be enough. Do they still think ADHD is something that just goes away?
