They're different experiences, but that only matters for certain movies, epics and action movies primarily. For story and/or character driven movies, at least for me, the "big screen" is not worth the big cost.

They all skated the first time! So you've gotta understand why people are a little skeptical that anything's gonna happen this time. He's a conficted criminal that led an insurection and the powers that be let him run again FFS. How could you NOT be skeptical about any justice occurring?

One issue the trad movie industry doesn't seem to understand is that the vast majority of people would rather wait a month or two to watch most movies on streaming, rather than spend $100+ to take a family of four to the movies. They've priced themselves out of the market w. unsustainable salaries.
