My Kids on Brooms character got back with her endgame otp that she's been stupid in love with since second year tonight and it was very satisfying. Also realizing it happened almost to the date 3 years after she first told him she loved him.

One last #questpit post. A lil summary about what's going on with Project Hotel God Jail. It's a very new project but I'm so excited to eventually introduce you all to all of these gremlins (gods and siblings alike). #W #MG #SFF
The state has determined that it’s time for Alexis and Emery Lemmick to go back to living with their father. Alexis and Emery are determined not to. When their runaway attempt is thwarted by their caseworker and a particularly bad storm, the three stop in at the Hotel Pomegranate for the night. The hotel is creepy, the staff is peculiar, and by the end of the night, their caseworker, Fabian, has gone missing. Because the Hotel Pomegranate is a living thing, a jail for the staff who works there – all gods of a long defeated pantheon. To be free again, they each have to trap someone else in their place, and now they’ve turned their sights on Alexis and Emery. The brother and sister will have to use their wits, as well as their best pranks, to keep from being trapped in the hotel forever...and to find a place they can finally call home.

Earlier today I maligned my own handmade blorbo, Nico Guerin, by saying that he would get nowhere if he had to rely on his sense of humor. This was deeply disrespectful of his comedic genius as shown throughout the spicy pie scene, and I apologize for my thoughtless words.

2) In most fantasy pantheons I read, the god of the sun is this kindly, upright deity of Law and Civilization or they're like the god king but respectably so. But kind of a stick in the mud. And tbh I made a sun goddess for Terrafae who I love but is the goddess of the working class basically.
Veyja, the Day, mother of stars which bring their own day to far off worlds, goddess of light and renewal, patron of the worker Domains: Forge (in some regions), Life, Light It is said that Veyja is so covered in splendorous light or has maybe become embodied light herself, that she cannot be seen directly. Her icon is typically a sun, but she is sometimes portrayed as a round young human woman with wavy hair wreathed in sunlight. Even then, the details of her face or her clothing are left vague.

Roommate was comparing Promise to Rumi from KPop Demon Hunters last night in ONE specific way and after I laughed at the mental image of my scrungliest character in a girl group I got a terrible (read: terrific, terrible for Promise) idea for Fox Eyes.
Three texts to my roommate which read: This is gonna sound VERY weird out of context but you comparing Rumi to Promise last night just gave me an idea to add some oomph to Fox Eyes (The idea is not to put her in a girl group) (Although thematically she is a little bit already a little bit in a girl group they're even a trio)

Working on Hexmark serial for next September and shoutout to 12 year old Cami's fashion sense which can best be described as "mid-00s Disney Channel star." Pretty sure she was wearing patterned leggings too so might edit later. I have a very serious main character, this is a serious serial.
“You dress very loudly,” declared Esme as Cami made her way to her seat. Cami looked down at her blue galaxy hoodie and neon green skirt. She wore a pair of purple high-tops for the occasion given her placement into Wolfsbane. She also had on her favorite bucket hat — green with a frog face on top — and her butterfly choker.

Had Kids on Brooms yesterday and so of course today I felt the urge to picrew my girl Cami, now in 5th year. She has...not been this bright and chipper this year, but she'll get there.

More of my Kids on Brooms character, she is a treasure and a delight. (We just finished 2nd year plot so we were doing a lot of summing up how the rest of the year goes.)

Ash | The DM — Today at 4:15 PM Alastair would tell her it's okay. He'd probably half joke he'd rather no one be the next great summoner alextomato — Today at 4:16 PM "so I can skip the essay then?" "no" 😂 turns in one (1) essay that's like "why I think I should be allowed to go into the hell circle: what if an imp is in summoning class and they have to summon a scot? and if I don't go into the hell circle then that imp failing their class is all on me, and on you 'cause you didnae let me go into the hell circle. and without a proper education that imp could end up going down a life of crime and destitution and..." and then she promises that's her last act of buffoonery for the year (probably not but she's trying to curb it) Ash | The DM — Today at 4:20 PM He gives her an F and writes "I hope the imp failed."
