I made a line chart to show the trend of how many people a single representative represents in each congressional district. Representation in the lower House of Congress has become really big since Congress decided to cap the House at 435.

I went with a horsehoe legislative floor layout for California State Assembly. It's similar to the opposing benches layout as it is in UK and Canada. But they have curved area where smaller parties and NPP members sit. The Gov't and the Oppostion both face each other while debating.

I really like how the room of Canada's House of Commons is laid out. The government or majority party and the official opposition both face each other while debating. This is how I want the U.S. House floor room to be laid out.
