This is Trumps mob. So it will be more like 100 billion jobs with inflation at -120% and everything is so cheap, business pay you to take it!

Well, a lot voted for him and many still support him so he has a lot of evidence of dumb.

He wants immigrants, but only if they pay their huge new visa fees, train (dumb!) citizens, then leave.

ICE is about cruelty and personal force. Immigration is a side job.

The download will be as slow as the slowest server between you and the data. For bulk downloads without many mirrors, they can become saturated. Updates as lots of small files also hurt a lot dending on distance.

It's not unknown for some of my games to go as low as 20kps on my 1gbit connection.

A bit misleading. He shows sympathy (and pardons) for murderers, terrorists, rapists, pedophiles, drug trafficers and fraudsters too.

Like literally. It's insane.

Yes. "It costs more per MW to use solar than coal!" they say. Except for after that MW of power, they have to dig up more coal.

My panels keep providing 20 to 60MW per day for well over 20 years. And solar is still becoming more efficient and cheaper.
November 12, 2025 at 5:37 AM
Wow, all the panel manufacturers must lose tons of money given my panels have a 25 year warrantee!

And yes. Almost 100% recyclable. Like my car battery.

I wish liars could be help accountable.

Considering the policians got paid anyway, I wonder about their patriotism. And they and their well of cronies wouldn't even actually *need* it unlike those of us that live pay date to pay date.

"You should work for free while we kill your healthcare or your not patriotic". What a f'ed up message.

What did he spend the money on? Government shutdown, many services and contracts terminated. Hmm.

Th numbers he’s quitting are ridiculous. If he wants to sell a big number, at least make it plausible. But then he’s still claiming citizens don’t pay the tax…
November 11, 2025 at 5:10 PM
The only reason they will get paid now is because a few dems caved. It wasn't anything trump or the reps did.

If the dems didn't cave, I'd bet the shutdown would have been basically permanent because they don't give a rats arse about the people.
November 11, 2025 at 1:00 AM
"soon release". China had "already released" some time ago and I doubt they just stopped development.

I really get tsick of hearing Musk say "soon".
November 11, 2025 at 12:57 AM
Whether to give in to Reps when they may keep the shutdown going for years because they don't care about the people, I'm not sure. The credits aren't the only thing affected by the shutdown.

But buying into a Reps promis is plainly stupid. It has to be an excuse. The question is, why the excuse.
November 10, 2025 at 11:12 AM
Does that mean support for the Republicans then? Or just ignoring it all?

The Reps don't care who they hurts so what if they kept the govt closed forever.

This isn't a game and the shutdown hurts plenty of others. Folding is bad if the Reps will cave, but would they? Ever? I'm not so sure.

I don't know about the US. But in Australia our name is crossed off in a big book. Those books are scanned so if a name has been marked more than once, it's voter fraud and the voter gets a fine.

Fraud votes happen, but they are a very tiny count. Only traitors are so undemocratic.
November 9, 2025 at 11:15 PM
They feel a need to "own the libs" because their leaders are so toxically inadequate and stupid that annoying their betters with rank stupidity is all they can hope to achieve.
November 9, 2025 at 9:17 AM
They have to make sure there’s enough gestapo around when the mid terms happen.
November 9, 2025 at 3:19 AM
It is. We fund the Govt to look keep us safe, to help level ther playing field between us and those that would exploit us and to provide services that individuals just cannot afford.

Govt should be socialist oriented, but a lot of people seem to prefer to have mega-rich people than services.

It's interesting that Trump hasn't progressed more with dismantling the courts than I thought by now.

I'm wondering if, even though a lot of "top" level people caved quickly, most of the real workers in the FBI, CIA, courts, military, etc, are not playing his game. And that's slowed it so much.
November 7, 2025 at 9:53 AM
It’s easy for us to feel like we could be doing better. And we could. We have problems with rich people greed too.

But if I compare our life to those in many other countries, we’re doing great.

But racism is strong here too making it easy for the rich to deflect attention.

Hindsight is s wonderful thing.
I can imagine it is super difficult to make a call where a situation appears balanced. Notice "appears". This is where experience and skill comes in.
I don't envy the top commanders even if they're away from the front. Even with experience, the stress must be amazing.
November 5, 2025 at 11:05 AM
That's insane. In Australia, I paid 2% of my salary into our public Medicare. So $2,000 on a 100k salary.

My *family* gets 100% free medical for emergency room and births + 50% off doctor vists + cheap scripts.

My wife completely broke her humerous and elbow joints. That and births costs $0.00.
November 5, 2025 at 10:03 AM
That's some of it. Plenty will believe that prosperity is just around the corner.

It's all riding on Bessent dumping the deficit into Stablecoin to make borrowing cheaper. I've heard that the risks are huge and requires perfect execution. From Republicans. LOL. But the deficit will forever increase

Given who Musk supports, he obviously is a threat to democracy. Insisting that an election is valid only when the candidate *you* support wins, is not supporting democracy.
November 4, 2025 at 9:15 AM
As if. Those guys follow news and public opinion as if their lives depended on it.

If he doesn't know, it was because he told his staff to not tell him things, for instance "if trump does something stupid". He could then claim "he didn't know".

Given his track record, he's probably just lying.

No mayor can run their place like a communist country, it's still in the USA. There are still federal laws he can't circumvent.

But then, so many confuse communism with socialism. So I doubt they have ANY clue about democratic socialism.

God I wish fear mongering could be de-invented.
