As part of our Lecture Series Week, we were delighted to welcome guest speaker Prof. Adam Moulé from @ucdavis.bsky.social, who delivered an engaging lecture on #organicelectronic materials to the TIDE fellows. The evening concluded with a relaxed and enjoyable group dinner.

Congratulations to Baris on successfully defending his PhD thesis this week on “Optoelectronic properties of dipolar merocyanines on highly ordered surfaces”. TIDE is proud of this achievement and wishes him all the best for his future career.

Some of our TIDE members took part in the stage 16 of cycling #TourDeFrance#MontVentoux July 2025, and rode up the famous Mont Ventoux. It was a tough climb and an amazing experience!

To promote our female #PhDstudents, TIDE has a Woman@Science program. At our last event, three female scientists presented their different career paths, followed by discussions in small groups which provided the opportunity to network and ask questions.
