Any candidate for California governor in 2026 will need to have a realistic plan for the housing crisis in order to get my support. Both the lack of housing leading to homelessness AND modernizing the state's infrastructure to enable people to work and contribute to the economy.

It's so insane. Two new developments of houses (for lease, not sale) in the boondocks of LA County are going for a minimum of $2k per month. People from LA with Beemers and Benzes are moving in and making 2 hour work commutes to LA to afford to live "near LA."
