Like, I stream at only 3500kbs bitrate to ensure a stable-ish stream on my not-great wifi. That's disgusting quality for editing, especially on high-movement moments.

And with this, every corrupted VOD has been saved from oblivion (at the cost of a few seconds)!
This seems silly but I'm so happy about it. My VODs are very high quality to make editing easier, and working with the much lower quality Twitch ones was a huge downgrade...

It's also making me realize a lot of the broken frames seem to happen early in the VODs, usually around the first 15 minutes.

Managed to save another VOD, I'm so happy!
It's not super difficult using Davinci Resolve, but it is time-consuming. Basically, I render a video till it fails, remove the broken frames, then do another render until I find the next broken frame.
Losing a few seconds of footage beats unusable footage.

Good news : I managed to fix it thanks to good ol' DaVinci Resolve! It's only missing a few seconds! Thank you Resolve....

For the rest of the week, we'll be doing Minecraft Festival in Crossworlds Thursday or Friday (depends on my schedule), and a ✨mysterious new game✨ on Saturday (but not that mysterious if you've been listening to my rambles on stream hahaha).

More Secret Rings tonight (9PM CEST), this time without a debilitating migraine that makes me stop halfway through. This game is not the most interesting gameplay-wise but I am determined to get to the end of it! 🫡

Just remember that this game is often shamed in the Sonic community. Not to the point of 06 and Forces, but saying it's your favorite game usually ends in people forcing you into a clown costume.
But it is very dear to me, so being able to develop friendships thanks to it...it feels wild.

One of the wildest parts of my streaming journey is that my obsession with Sonic Heroes is directly responsible for me meeting and befriending so many lovely people.
I found Birch playing it once and it snowballed from there. 🥴

Anyway, Wednesday's stream will be another multistream test. If it works fine then, I'll make it a permanent thing and try to find a way to include StreamPlace chat in my layout (if it's allowed by Twitch? idk I don't fully understand what's allowed or not when it comes to multi-chats).

All this time I was agonizing over why my @stream.place streams didn't work when multistreaming.
...turns out it did, StreamPlace just doesn't like VPNs. I had to fully disconnect it (not just add streamplace to its exceptions) for the stream to actually play in my browser. 🥴
