I’ve seen graphs like this and sometimes wonder units shipped vs units currently being used. For tablets at least, in the last 4-5 years I have had an iPad Pro and 4 android tablets, but the iPad Pro is the only one working. So I am 80/20 on android/apple shipped but 0/100 on currently used.

My first thought was, that’s symmetric, that’s peculiar. Then I asked is there a general rule for symmetric subtraction problems with 2-digit numbers. Then I worked out a few examples and saw they were all multiples of 9. And the general rule is the difference of the digits times 9 is the answer.

Oh and in Tetris. There are 3 non-chiral pieces then two chiral pairs.

As someone who worked in a microbiome lab, I ultimately ended up leaving because the statistical methods were embarrassingly bad and nobody seemed to care when I brought it up.

I like sometimes after talking on the phone, my dad doesn’t hang up the call and he just starts humming a tune to himself and I listen in for a while before hanging up.
