The man's pulse was weak, his breath barely inflating his lungs. He had very little time. "It's my fault. I'm to blame. I must make it right, please," Xiao Xingchen said, pink, watery blood welling up in his eyes. "Please, if you will save him, I'll—" "You have nothing to offer me," Baoshan Sanren said, cutting off his pleading.
