#WritingCommunity #photography #amquerying #noAI. Grumpy Grammarian-Baker-Amateur Photographer-Hiker-Nature-Humor-Movies-Quotations-Unpublished but hoping. Photos mine. Typos galore. FWIW.
Just heard that #BirdOfTheDay is #reflections. I cannot resist a good reflection picture. Here is mine, now I will go and look at all the good ones!😄

Just found this picture and thought it would be another good one for #BlueSkyMonday. An impossibly blue sky with a Cardinal providing a smidge of red. Smidge? Today I've also seen the words “Writery,” “Squidgy,” and “Assholery” on social media. Is this a weirdly great place or what?!😄

#BlueSkyMonday Trying to get mentally prepared to go out on my morning walk. Temperature is 9 deg F. It's all good. Eagle taking off against a blue sky. Have a great week.

Missed #Stunday! Here is a late picture of a tree at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, stretching its roots over to shore for a little help.

Mark Twain’s birthday. He lived his life in such a way as to supply him with an endless supply of things to write about! His words carry over to today:

"It could probably be shown by facts and figures that there is no distinctly American criminal class except Congress."

Up way too late. Should not be up doom-scrolling and rage-posting. One good thing is that people are posting images of nuthatches—Why? I don't care. One of my favorites! I will post this one and hit it for the night. GN!

#scape for today's hashtag. Mine, a Great Lakes scape, with a lighthouse way out there to give it a focal point. Copper Harbor.

Watching "The Wizard of Oz." (Trying to recover from food coma, please don't judge me!😆) One line in it by the Scarecrow stood out:

"Some people without brains do an awful lot of talking."

I will let you fill in the blanks on this one. Hope you all had a great day.

Fantastic image. I also like silhouettes in photography. Just a small one.

#InsectThursday Another one I can never remember. Here is a flower with a variety of insects on it, so you can take your pick.

#BirdOfTheDay #HeadShots. If two is better than one, how about three?
November 27, 2025 at 11:34 AM
One more post before trying to get some sleep before the holiday. #WaterWednesday, the frozen kind, and it is coming. This formed from water dripping down to form an icicle, and water pulsing up from underneath to make the "bulb."
November 27, 2025 at 4:01 AM
#WoodpeckerWednesday Never remember this one! Since the day is half over, I will post only part of a Red-Bellied Woodpecker, trying to hide and keep watch at the same time.

#BirdOfTheDay theme is #OnTheEdge? Sure. This little guy had one withered leg and was still keeping up with all the other hyperactive birds on the beach.
November 26, 2025 at 11:54 AM
My "Don't let this happen to you" image. It also might fit for #WeirdWednesday tomorrow. A picture of my stovetop, really, after Thanksgiving dinner some years back. As wild as this may look, dinner came out okay. I'm hoping that this year runs a little more smoothly! Good luck, everyone!😁

#RockinTuesday Mine, flowers versus rocks, with some small flowers breaking through to add a little color to the rocky landscape.
November 25, 2025 at 2:14 PM
So #BirdOfTheDay theme is #HangingAround? I have this one! Oriole, hanging around, trying to steal a drink from the hummingbird feeder, and spilling a few drops in the process. Hang in there.

Window with one brick shy of a load, revealing small patch of blue for #BlueSkyMonday. One bridge shy of load—could this be a metaphor for photographer's posts? I will let you decide. Let's keep hoping that the new week brings a little more sanity.
November 24, 2025 at 3:49 AM
Heard now that #BirdOfTheDay theme is #Mr&Mrs. Not sure if this is Mr. and Mrs., but they are feeding each other, so I will hope it is.
November 23, 2025 at 4:42 PM
One more fall image for #Stunday tomorrow—a reflection of fall trees of various kinds and colors, made all wiggly by wavy water. Have a great rest of your weekend. The week of eating far too much is near!🦃
November 23, 2025 at 4:27 AM
Wow, there is a lot of great photography on BlueSky this morning! Don't know why I feel compelled to say that. I will head out with my camera soon, and whether I take any great pictures or not, I will be glad that I went. Have a great weekend.
November 22, 2025 at 12:44 PM
So, #BlueSkyArtShow #small I have far too many images for this theme. Here is a really big sailboat, looking small with red sails in a very blue Bar Harbor.
November 22, 2025 at 12:30 PM
Just saw that for tomorrow the #BirdOfTheDay theme is #birdonawire. Better post something now or I will forget by then!🤪

I don't know where all the people came from on here suddenly who are posting images of old, dilapidated buildings, but keep up the fine work. They are cool. Every one of them. FWIW
November 21, 2025 at 11:01 PM
Also #scape Friday. How about paver scape? All I think about when I see these, besides how cool they are, is how much work had to go into them. Yikes.
