They return to the US and rave to their friends & family how incredible it was, but somehow can’t bridge the gap between that experience and our atrocious lack of quality healthcare, but exorbitant fees for it.
Oh, and let’s not forget they’d rather foreigners drop dead here than go to the ER.

In light of current events: I’m sure we’ve all heard of someone who travelled abroad, required medical attention, and received it at little to no cost to them, whatsoever, despite their lack of citizenship in that country.
I think there may be some irony in there, somewhere…🤔

AR testing *absolutely* harmed my enthusiasm for reading—I say that all the time! I was a voracious reader as a child and was always rewarded for outstanding AR test scores, but after years of doing it, it burnt me out. I read more these days, but for a while I was just sick of it.
