No, we shouldn't be advancing any kind of "AI dominance". AI--or what the tech bros are pushing as "AI"--is actually just statistics. Which, we've been doing for a long time! Businesses lie all the time about the features/benefits of their products. The government should not be aiding/abetting them.

Yep. I commuted into Manhattan for a job on NJTransit in the aftermath of Christie's choice. You could see the degredation of the train system in real-time as the years went on. Delays. Cancellations. Trains stuck in the tunnels. Portal bridge stuck open. It was all so stupid and avoidable.

Wouldn't this have already been completed (in 2018?) had Christie not cancelled the initial project in 2010? Here it is 15 years later and it's JUST NOW getting (re)started. Good thing he was looking out for the taxpayers of NJ.
