And 2, decarbonising the residual waste. Having looked a lot at this I've concluded that carbon capture is the only solution that works at scale so working to build a carbon capture plant on an energy from waste facility

So working on two main areas. 1 getting plastic out of the non recycled waste stream. Plastics account for pretty much all fossil emissions from waste. So increasing recycling and reprocessing.

There is a sense of try anything isn't there? I cannot see them getting much credit for this but with polls as they are there is less risk with bolder moves. That said, a misstep with the economy now and goodness you could see some incredible losses for the tories I suspect.
