Just wrapped up my first course as AP! What a humbling experience. I learned a ton about teaching undergrad stats. Big shoutout to my absolute amazing TAs (Connor Mitchell, Ronald Pikes, and Alicia Ross), and to Jacob Hibel and Ryan Finnigan for sharing their materials with me 🙏🙏🙏

Excited to be in Montreal to share some new work on AI at #ASA2024! I'll be sharing a recently published paper with Leslie McCall on the important role of sociologists in AI policymaking, and a new working paper with @emroberto.bsky.social on analyzing satellite and streetscape imagery with genAI.
