Such an honor to host the 2025 @arabic.games Showcase with a tremendous lineup of Arab made games from all across the Arab World.

More than 60 games and tools, across an hour, and I cannot be more proud. Big kudos to the team behind the scenes, and speakers throughout.

hey! fuck ai!

here's my ai-free game, gen ai wasn't used at all during development. its heartfelt and all about empathy and accessibility and making games for everyone.

it's free, and only 5-15 minutes long! you can play it during your lunch break, even!!

#gamedev #indiegame #indiedev #solodev
happy #PitchYaGame day!

my first solo game just came out: it's called "an unplayable game?!" and it's a short platforming experience about the importance of accessibility settings.

completely FREE and made with no AI, available on steam now! includes 30+ mins of dev commentary!

an unplayable game?! on Steam
a game about accessibility settings that's just a *bit* too hard for you to play effectively. 10-15 minutes in length with 30+ minutes of developer commentary!

I can 200% vouch for Tetralogical.

They were key when I needed support to expand our games #accessibility mandate and ecosystem to encompass our Websites.
And led to the recruitment of the amazing @billygregory.bsky.social

I'd work with them again without hesitation. And so should you!
Sustainable accessibility means building capability, not just fixing issues.

Our Sustainable Accessibility service helps organisations embed accessibility into their strategy, culture and operations.

FC 26 is nominated for the Innovation in Accessibility Award! Congrats to everyone at EA SPORTS for this major recognition.

Ubisoft, Rebellion, Bethesda, and Compulsion are champions for accessibility, and to be amongst them is an honor. But real winners here are gamers with disabilities ♿️✨

Congratulations to everyone nominated!!

And selfishly very happy to see one of our games being nominated alongside titles who've done amazing work in the #accessibility field this year.

Knowing that lots of those games had friends working on them, it feels like a big family picture <3
Awards season is the best time of the year. So much blood sweat and tears goes on behind the scenes from so many people to make accessibility a reality, it always makes me so happy to see people publicly recognised for it.

I'm rooting for FC26!

High contrast mode in a multiplayer game is a cornerstone for our industry and will hopefully pave the way for much more to follow.

Congratulations for this well deserved nomination.

My best advice for becoming a digital accessibility specialist is to make it your job, regardless of your title.

Making a presentation? Putting together a design? Building something in code?

In anything you do, be curious about what it takes to make it more accessible

They personally don't need them "yet".

They're basically advocating against their older selves' needs.

Slower reaction times, lower vision, arthritis, shorter memory, smaller attention span, you name it.

They'll come around one day and thank us when they can still play.

Too many gamers are weird about accessibility options in games just because they personally don’t need them.
