I try to look at rare events from a statistical viewpoint. Eg, if an immigrant commits murder in the US, is that a failure of the vetting system or a testimony to how well the immigrant screening process works? The 1 in the numerator causes hysteria, the thousands/millions in denominator ignored.

The only reason to have the military in D.C. is to increase tensions and antagonize people to the point they over-react, creating "justification" for increasing crackdowns on innocent people. It's all a con.

Yes, who is more likely to regard the sacrifice of people as abhorrent than those who follow a religion centered on celebrating the sacrifice of a person?

And under the conservatives, BC and first nations would have gotten a 'shut the fuck up here's your notwithstanding clause so get out'.

Lil PP is basically stating he would have forced a pipeline through no matter what.

Cons are fascists enemies working from within, and are very dangerous.

Anyone siding with Trump/Hegseth over Mark Kelly is showing their true colors.

This isn't a left/right issue.

This is a right/wrong issue.

This is a "Do you believe in the US Constitution or not?" issue.

It's clear where the Trump regime stands.

Cost per hr:
Gripen - $5,800
F35 - $35,000.
Lets say 1000hrs per year per plane.
Gripen - $5,800,000
F35 - $35,000,000
72 planes
Gripen - $417,600,000
F35 - $2,520,000,000
Gripen savings - $2,102,400,000 per year.
That's $2.1 billion per year saved.
There is far more to this than jobs.
Saab is offering the intellectual property and full control of the Gripens we buy.
That alone should be enough to seal the deal.
The Canadian companies that make parts for the F35 could easily make parts for the Gripen.
