I know you can get the original later, and personally idk, that feels like a copout to me. I guess it's nice that its an option but I almost wish they had just not added it and made the learning curve for the new one more organic

I can also def see why people don't like hornet's base pogo. I personally think its way better than the knight's, but I also think TC is expecting too much from the player too soon with it. The OG pogo was already difficult to master for most people, this one is harder and is required much earlier

actually having sat with the game for a bit, I'm sorry but the healing sucks hot ass in Silksong and its wild that people consider it a buff to the first game. I like a lot of aspects of SS already, but I would honestly go so far as to say that the healing is bad, unintuitive game design

So if you're already good at the game, the game hands you tools to make it easier, and if you're struggling, the game makes using those skills in combat the objectively worse choice...

I know I'm super late to the discussion here, but wow this system just sucks. The first game tying your skill resource to your healing resource was already a... bold choice... SS making it so that you just cant heal unless you have a full bar makes using skills actively bad for the player
