It's time for change. I'm the Democrat running to bring fresh, new ideas to CA37! Voters are tired of more of the same, so let's change it! 🏳️‍🌈🇺🇸 https://www.toddforcongress.us/

History will have every right to ask us what the fuck were we thinking letting all these folks off the hook

When I talk to voters, one of the top issues is helping our unhoused community in LA. These cuts are going to make it worse.

I've got plans that won't require raising taxes, just someone to fight for change.

Congress is in charge of budgets - not the executive branch. Plans on my website!

If we had a stronger Congress, "Executive Orders" - otherwise known as press releases - could be ignored so Congress could focus on the two things it is designed to do: spend money, and pass laws, rather than whatever it is they are currently doing.
Trump's executive order signings show unprecedented and historic trend
The Mirror US has analyzed data of U.S. presidents and it shows Donald Trump is signing executive orders at a rapid and historic pace.

Here we go again. Republicans shutting down the government to control who gets healthcare and who doesn’t.

They’ve done it with abortion, they’ve tried with Medicare, and now this.

And why do they keep getting away with it? Because too many in Congress roll over instead of fighting back. Enough.

Here we go again with the threat of another government shutdown! It's almost as if Congress doesn't work at all.

Congress can choose to go along with the self-serving corruption of the Trump administration, or it can chart a new path where it takes back its power for good. Tick-tock.

When it comes to healthcare, Congress needs to stop saying they will fight back and actually fight back.

Here's my healthcare plan I'll fight for for when I get to Congress: www.toddforcongress.us/healthcare

Reads more like a text message than a social post but here we are. A President attempting to influence his AG used to be an impeachable offense, and will be again.

Immigrants, KNOW YOUR RIGHTS. New rules in California when you go to the hospital. Congress must make these national. I've got your back.

Today, more than 90 Democrats voted to honor #CharlieKirk. Nobody should be shot for exercising free speech.

That said, nobody who supported stoning gay people should be honored by the House of Representatives.
House approves Charlie Kirk resolution on bipartisan vote
The measure split Democrats, many of whom cosponsored an alternative measure condemning all political violence.

"The New York Times called me a bank robber and defamed me!" said the bank robber.

In all seriousness, Donald Trump is relying on institutions caving to him. But he cowers in the face of fighters. Congress needs to learn this lesson.

With all due respect @nytimes.com, the alleged shooter of a Republican was from a Republican family who is reported to have believed Charlie Kirk wasn't conservative enough.

A better headline would be "Wrestling Over Charlie Kirk’s Legacy and the Divide in the Republican Party".
