Not going to pretend to be up to speed on IN’s congressional map but isn’t it already gerrymandered? & this push would go further than the existing gerrymandering. I have hard time believing the state is operating w/fair & impartial districts that don’t disenfranchise tens of thousands of voters.

We let them off the hook by aligning these people more closely w/Trump/maga than w/Republicans. The whole thing is wild given most sane people would agree that the Republican Party made Trump, Trump did not make the current GOP. The GOP built a Frankenstein they couldn’t control. It was inevitable

We’d be much more successful at ending someone like MGT’s political career if we accurately & forcefully attached her actions to the party she belongs to and the party she’ll seek a nomination from in the future than if we try to attach her to an amorphous label that people define in multiple ways

connected to the Republican Party and its members not maga. One actually is something and means something. The other is nothing more than a mask that allows Republicans to hide behind and eventually escape like MGT is seemingly doing right now despite all her “maga” transgressions.

when what we need is for people to recognize that belonging to the Republican Party is the problem. That unless you leave the party the stink stays attached to you. Anyone can leave maga cause it literally means nothing. All this fascism, racism and illegal activity belongs to the GOP not some

They see maga as a subset of the GOP. Noah has said - but not sure he still thinks - they are the same. But when we assume others see it that way we help Republicans get away w/their crimes. Just look at how quickly one of the worst “maga” offenders (MGT) has already softened her image & rebranded
