Wisconsin's Caroline Harvey is the WCHA defender of the month for October, joining Ohio State's Hilda Svensson (forward, rookie) and Minnesota's Hannah Clark (goalie) in the montly awards. It's the seventh time that Harvey has won a WCHA monthly award in her four-year career.

The Coach Sauer Foundation has given grants to nine youth hockey organizations in Wisconsin. The foundation's opportunity grants grow hockey by providing financial help to players and organizations to expand accessibility and provide new experiences.
