Finally been in the headspace to write my Death Stranding analysis (2600+ words in so far but will probably cut some stuff that is overly personal) and trying to find the balance of explaining enough of the weird sci fi story beats without it just being a plot recap has been an interesting challenge

Just seen the IGN top 100 Nintendo games that put Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom 1st & 2nd and while I do not agree that's honestly pretty beast

Been playing FF Tactics for the first time with the remake and as someone who ends up analysing narratives through class dialetics by default it's very interesting seeing a game so openly tackle them.
In Chapter 3 and can tell I am either going to love or hate this story with no in between

The other thing with Legends:ZA that is cool is it's commentary on gentrification and homelessness, one of the better pokemon stories I think

Not quite done with Legends: ZA yet (at Rank B) but my general thoughts are that this game is pretty damn good.
New Mega Designs are largely good, especially the sillier ones. the Xenoblade-esque combat is the most like the anime the games have felt and the Yakuza-style world design fits so well

Not quite done with Legends: ZA yet (at Rank B) but my general thoughts are that this game is pretty damn good.

AI slop completely overtaking the "playlist of random music that is good for working" genre of video on youtube has at least had the upside of making me listen to game OSTs way more than I usually would
