In The Ferryman and his Wife, I was particularly tickled by the Smiths reference, when a character drowns in a car: “What a heavenly way to die … to die by his lover’s side.” I wonder how it appeared in Norwegian - or whether it was the rendition of the translator, Alison McCullough.

Historien med Temperance Seven är rolig. Detta brittiska kultband skulle ha spelat i Sverige, bl a Malmö, 1993. Efteråt avslöjade dock en artikel i Sydsvenskan man hade ställt in sin turné. Den svenske managern satte då i stället ihop ett tillfälligt band av likartade musiker som genomförde turnén!
