Yesterday, I brought together schools, our universities, and the amazing third-sector organisations working with children and families in Bournemouth so they could share their experiences of children’s social care with Josh MacAlister, Minister for Children and Families.
Children are 20% of our population, and 100% of our future. I’ve secured an £18 million national fund, confirmed in yesterday's Budget, and now I’m pushing for Bournemouth East to benefit.

On Saturday, it was a pleasure to join Boscombe Youth Fiddle Orchestra as their founder, Jack, received the High Sheriff of Dorset's Award.
This orchestra has given so many young people confidence, community, and the joy of music, and it was wonderful to see that recognised! 🎻

He showed the Prime Minister what healthier, fresher school meals can look like when a brilliant chef is given the space and support to do what he does best. 👇

Many residents have contacted me with concerns about BCP Council’s plans for land in and around Solent Meads and how it may be used for biodiversity projects.
I’ve raised these concerns with the Council, who have now set out their explanation of the proposals (link below).
