Seriously, though. This is like a gag from an early Conan O’Brien late night bit and I mean that in THE most complimentary possible way. The parade was DINNER CONVERSATION tonight! Not just HUNTR/X, not “that was a good/bad Santa.” The whole *waves hands wildly* that was the entire Macy’s Parade.

Things I’ve learned from my first time substitute teaching:
• I do not know how to use a Chromebook
• Subs without logins make for sub-par tech support
• Some classes are more about survival than sticking to the lesson plan
• Art class is an absolute gift assignment, teacher left great notes [1/2]

I was the elected official “special guest” (it’s just me, I still listen to the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack at least three times a week) caller at a Banned Book BINGO event tonight. It was fun and energizing to see people are still connecting and finding ways to protect sanity in insane times. 📖

I took this photo a few years ago while out walking my dog. Every evening, we make the same loop around the neighborhood. I haven't seen the sky look quite like this since. Majestic, humbling. In the end, little moments of surprise and joy are the things that stick with us.

The K-Pop Demon Hunters Sing-Along was a blast! @fourhman.com joined us to see it in a theater full of fellow fans. HUNTR/X shirts. Girls with Rumi hair. A mom next to us said we did a great job and that she hoped her kids weren’t too loud. But that’s WHY we were there! Happy fans, happy honmoon.
