One thing I have always admired about the trans community at large is that they will gladly rip to shreds another trans person for racism or something. But they will call them a fucking fascist asshole while never misgendering or dead naming them.

The fact that math is essentially fiction, but some of the most strictly true things we know of (barring limits of Gödel) to the point that we use this logically strict fiction to model the real world (and it’s clearly the best way to do so) is just so fascinating to me.

Konservative sine forsøk på å brande seg som de ‘nye punkerne’ eller ‘de ekte punkerne’ er jo heller ikke nytt en gang. Husker enkelte amerikanske nykonservative var veldig på det på 2000-tallet (ja, samtidig som Irak-krigen).

15-20 years ago when CDNs wasn’t new exactly, but there was a lor of hype around the, AFAIK one of thr chief claims was about reliability.
