Like by far this competitive community is still miles ahead of others in terms of safety, diversity, and acceptance but I don't really find that to be that high of a bar. I'm grateful, but I don't think we need to never demand anything more.

I'm constantly replaying the line in my head, NO ONE is getting paid for any of this. So I don't understand the "well I Have to play with x, I Have to let y in this tournament" or else what exactly? We're so well governed on values until god forbid someone face a consequence for their actions.

I don't understand how people straying away from conduct bans is due to the fear of the court of public opinion. At worst (and I understand this) it's the fear of targeted harassment but that threat would be far weaker if people judged character before skill.

Like I think in my case my involvement in the community is just using the skills I get paid for elsewhere to enhance people's experiences. But god I cannot imagine having some other contribution of my time that goes entirely unpaid just end up shit on by someone who should have grown up already.

This is a little removed but I think there's way too much free labor involved in this scene that should ever warrant graces for individuals who don't bring a respectful attitude to tournaments. I don't think it should take much to deny FREE services to those who are actively disrespectful to TOs.

honestly the division in my mind is whether someone fights visible to the enemy or not and whether that visibility is useful and same for the alternative
but everything sorta blends together kinda like how support is a 'role' but also something every weapon does

Shiro packet (this part was the expensive part): 1.50
Spring onion: 10 cents
Seaweed packet: 50 cents
Add 10 cents for sauces and such-
$3.50 grand total
