A sad old boomer trying to enjoy this absurdity known as life.

Never surprised by human incompetence in fact I expect it.
I guess God canceled the rapture yesterday, so he could watch Jimmy Kimmel.

A comment I made nine months ago. Government control media licenses, there is no first amendment.
Will be interesting to see how they react if the new administration comes after the late night shows. I’m thinking Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert.

Last November I wrote this reply. I think it wears well.
Which is why the conservatives desperately want an election now. If they wait until next October the chaos south of the border will screw their chances of a majority government.

Yesterday, March 18th, 2025 the backyard patio bar was officially opened. Supposed to be sweeping and raking but I had other priorities.

Yes, it has no real value, but morons expend a lot of energy producing it anyway, most of the risks are in the transactions, all the guys holding it tell you it's in high demand but the smart investor recognizes a classic pump-and-dump scheme when they see one.

Just voted in the Ontario election. Left my house at 9:25 am in a snow storm. Back home at 9:55 am.
Can never understand why our neighbours to the south make it so difficult to vote.

I don’t often laugh at social media memes, but I must admit I chuckled at this one.
“For years, the funeral industry has suffered as a result of the Democratic Party’s unabashed anti-death agenda,” the group said in an official statement. “We are confident that Secretary Kennedy will make death great again.” (Satire) open.substack.com/pub/borowitz...

The world can stand up to venal, vile, vulgarian in the White House tomorrow morning by selling American dollars and buying Canadian dollars and Mexican pesos in support.

This comment I made two months ago is wearing well. I was talking about PP and the federal conservatives.
