It takes an obscene amount of hubris to lecture the BBC when you have The Telegraph’s record on truth-telling.
Some of the paper’s errors this year are so bad they’re almost laughable 👇🏻

The Telegraph’s BBC hypocrisy
A paper that knows a thing or two about editorial f*ck-ups...

Another poll I don't believe.
Only 19% right-wing bias?
I think not.

It's exactly about Davie.
Trust in, and standards at the BBC have been decimated precisely because of Davie/Gibb/Sharpe. Impartial and independent my arse.
The BBC and the British public deserves better.

Are we wrong? Really?
We've witnessed the BBC under Gibb & Davie become untrustworthy, craven and blatantly right-wing biased. They should both have gone - a long time ago. Not because of this.
Some of us expect better from a supposed public service broadcaster.

Let’s hope we get someone who will bring the BBC back to the centre and cease promoting Farage at every opportunity! Time for the PM to sort out the BBC Board currently stuffed with Tory plants.

There's barely any scrutiny or analysis anyway. BBC and Sky devote endless air time to Trump (and Farage). No scrutiny. No fact checking/corrections at the time. Just misleading information and blatant lies pumped through our screens 24/7.

The BBC barely 'report' on Trump/Farage. That's the problem.
They're both just given endless screen/air time without scrutiny.
Good bloody riddance to Davie.
He should have gone a long time ago (along with Gibb). That it's taken Trump's criticism to finally get rid is utterly pathetic.

Atkins was at Wandsworth in 2016. Mistaken release has hit the front pages this week, but it isn't new. Between 40 and 115 offenders were incorrectly released every year from 2011 to 2024.
“It happens every working day. It just doesn’t normally become news.”

The real reason prisoners keep walking free
For one former inmate, the current swathe of wrongly freed prisoners is nothing new
