My dad abhors any negative comments about immigrants. Asked him recently why he’s so strong on it: ‘Because we’re always happy to take the rich and clever ones. Which means it’s not about disliking immigrants. It’s about disliking the poor and vulnerable. And that’s a bad human instinct.’
This is so disgusting.

There are now 7 pro-Palestine political prisoners in the British prison system who are on hunger strikes, some for 1 month+. Their health is deteriorating rapidly, but there has been no state response or major media coverage.

We have to ⬆️ the pressure now!!!

If only someone could do something about this 🤔

You know, maybe the leader of a great big union that funds the Labour party...
👩‍🏭Employment Rights: Row back after row back.

💷Budget: Instead of taxing extreme wealth, we now have a stealth tax on workers.

@UKLabour should be fighting for workers and communities - everyday people do not think they are on their side.

Each day, we learn of Israel’s theft of yet another slice of Palestine. Piece by piece, acre by acre, the Palestinian nation has been seized by Israeli offensive forces and carved up by Zionist colonizers in contravention of all treaties, accords, “peace” agreements and the like.

Imagine the reaction to allegations that Corbyn had made hissing gas noises to Jewish kids as a schoolboy - and then if he had responded to those allegations by shouting 'Bernard Manning!' at the journalists
The radio silence about Farage from people who are usually supremely vocal about antisemitism is so so telling.

Do they genuinely believe in equality & fairness? Their lives alone answer that. The vast wealth, the inherited privilege, the unquestioned status, the distance from the realities ordinary people face every day. Their very existence contradicts the values they claim to represent.

By contrast, the UK issued numerous media releases demanding the release of Alexei Navalny in Russia.
