The fun and frolics of a track teddy, the alter-ego of Dan the rail man. All views my own and subject to change. Was @trackteddy on twitter.
I post a lot on LinkedIn so have seen a lot of plagiarism of my stuff both direct and AI generated.

The approach I often recommend is post a comment to original source, tagging in original author so they are aware. Screen shot it and see if poster acknowledge or delete the comment. If deleted then call them out. If they acknowledge then at least the original person gets the credit for the content

In reality the paper checks are (or should be!) cross referenced with a digital database to see that they are valid, not counterfeit, (which a rogue state can change anyway!). For example I can create a fake payslip and NI number, but when cross referenced by a new employer it'll still fail.

What just like you already have to do with your National Insurance number?

ISO8601 also specifies year-month-day as the date format, but I'm pretty sure the majority of the uk still uses day-month-year.

It depends on where you live in the world. This explains more - www.timeanddate.com/calendar/day... Although there is more than a little controversy about the UK where I am.

Sunday is the first day of the week for the majority.

Slightly odd messaging. It seems to imply that if I go kill 2 cows then I offset the entire emissions from my car over 20+ years.

Camp fire starter - but then vaseline on cotton wool ignites with a flint and steel far easier.

Childhood memory unlocked
Sat with class on a hollow wood floor around a telly on wheels.
I was bursting for a fart.
Up come the words, Stop - Look - Listen and on cue
it happened
A thunderous eruption so loud that it could have been an earthquake. It resonated through the floor
Everyone ROTFL

Glad to see you are using the dash diagnostics to read temp and the gauge is merely ornamental!

Likely an automated process and it depends on where the sensors are to detect the train has passed.

Has anyone told NR they need to unblock it?

Weirdly I think I remember that too. Didn't it make up the tags in funky colours?

Hot stuff! More about this slightly odd rail vehicle here for those into the nerdy stuff - www.linkedin.com/pulse/hot-me... (Article needs an update as it is old)

I'm lucky enough to work both in the rail and the steel industry for British Steel and often it gives you an interesting perspective on many things. We do seem to get some of the biggest toys to play ...

Tragic, but could easily have been worse had the lower carriage also been involved.

no, they mean funicular railway.

If you want to put prices up hugely for everyone and make energy companies even more money then this sounds like a great idea. 🤪
Oh yes and you'll need to get residential customers to commit to having your electricity turned off or charged at extortionate rates during peak periods too to be fair too

People walking out in front of traffic without looking do bear some responsibility for the accident no matter how distasteful you may find it.
