The Visitors on the Geneva Sub. Over the weekend both UP 1983 and NS 8025 led two different trains destined for Proviso. With UP 1983 returning west on ZG2BRB.

UPY 711 leads a special move from WACY to IRM. METX 614. One of the two F40Cs remaining on this day. The engine was ferried to the Illinois Railway Museum to be preserved. (Bonus UP 1943 roster shot as a Mid Train DPU on ZLTG2)

Here's a scene you will no longer see. Now that nearly all of CN's C40-8 locomotives are being either stored or retired. CN 2007 (GE C40-8) crosses the diamonds at Blue Island. IL as he leads train CN L503-91/CSX Z742 to Kirk Yard down the Elsdon Sub.
