also gotta say "somehow a flat plane" seems like a huge problem with sets on recent streaming productions! dunno if it's bad design or they're shooting more in the volume or what.

that said, I mostly liked the *look* of Frankenstein (noo comment on the storytelling lol), aside from some unmotivated lighting choices that felt "old school movie" in a bad way, and clashed with the color schemes. Netflix seems to mandate that there is never complete shadow in the background.

I've been having this issue with some things, especially when they're rooted in nostalgia and familiarity - AI really makes you question the worth of that. happened a lot with the new season of Foundation, too many of the design choices are deliberately retro sci-fi or symetrical framing

(from a fan POV tbf tho it is hard to keep up with super prolific artists, maybe 6 hours a week could turn into a stream where fans can hang out rather than a release)

I think it's good to keep showing people that live electronic music can be realer/better - from an artist POV we can get tunnel vision and feel hopeless, but I think it helps to put other perspectives out there. but if you're really feeling acoustic then I hope that goes well too!
