A random nerd that documents video games, particularly of the Taito and Namco variety. Sometimes animation too. Send me witches, cats, and/or chinchillas and I'll love you.
Due to the fact that the apk and obb are from two different sources and my current Android phone is too modern to run the game, I cannot verify if the game will work as-is. People who are able to test it are free to report back, though.

Turns out I couldn't find a reliable download for the Android version either despite assuming otherwise, so I have made a mirror. Using my Google-fu and the power of Internet Archive, I found both the apk and obb on two different sites.

It should be fine on modern Windows considering its a Unity-based game from 2012. I ran it on Linux via Heroic Games Launcher and it was fine there, too. Enjoy!

Tween me collected them when they were still doing it, and got some cool shit out of it like this game. Luckily, I had the foresight to backup to a CD-R which I just recently found. Even more lucky, it has no weird DRM enabling this to be an easy job.

Archived from, of all things, a local backup made by a younger version of yours truly. The PC version of the game, compared to the mobile version (which is archived on the Android side iirc), cost some Coca Cola rewards points.

It's tryhard safe edginess.

Even some people that will lap up stuff with 70 layers of irony like all the recent Bubsy stuff (and will unironically go to bat for him) I've seen aren't crazy about this.

In addition - not to get too political, but the fact 2097 goes for more of an anti-American angle rather than the anti-commie angle of the original will turn off righties, and the lefties that don't care as much will turn their nose up at the AI art usage. Nobody wins here.
