I can really only watch this movie with the notion that it’s all a disassociate episode that Laurie is having—Michael died from the bullet to the head; everything leading up to Annie’s death is in Laurie’s mind, playing out toward her eventual breakdown. Does it add up? No, but it’s a fun theory.

… watching The Mist. Harrowing, dark, disturbing. Instead, the ending left me feeling a bit flat (it ends differently than the book). Not a bad film by any means. It just didn’t have that whoa factor. I liked it but won’t watch it again. Probably won’t remember much about it in the coming weeks.
