I used to be a teacher and now work in tech. It's both delightful and alarming how often I use the same strategies with coworkers that I did with 9th graders (many of which I got from K-6 teachers). Finding information, giving feedback, managing feelings... you really do have to teach your peers.

This is a very short-sighted perspective. Having a vaccinated population protects people who medically can't get some vaccines (newborns, chemo patients, transplanted organs, immune suppressed). What about children?

we live in society. people need to act like it. not every choice is individual.

I suppose it depends on the knife, but it's quite steady. I just stuck an unfolded Leatherman tool in mine (pretty heavy for its size), then did a ruler and kitchen scissors, if that helps. I think as long as it wasn't too top heavy it would work.
