Father Waters rolled through yesterday and we had a chat about his holiday itinerary. He asked whether I’d seen his new single yet and I told him I hadn’t had a chance to pick one up yet. He told me to google it, that I’d have a laugh.

Got me frazzled dwindling wig did in time for holiday travels, thanks to my longtime inspiring hairmaster Lisa! Shes only been in her sweet new salon for over a month and has already Fang Shwayed the hell out of it.
I will only get clipped where Downing & Bovie art hangs.

Okay, I have made a few posts that maybe implied “Shane of the Many Sorrows” was wrapped, but TODAY was the grand finale, the whipped cream sporting a cherry on top. Once again graced by exquisite outdoor light and three friends really open and sharing with their unique gifts and visions.

This could actually work as a magazine ad for Shane of the Many Sorrows. With a little copy of course.

Rayne O’May as Townes Van Zandt charming Shane.
Thank you Peter Redgrave and Orlando Johnson for turning in what I knew would be masterful performances! Surely to make his body move in the inhuman ways he does Peter must have some of the Dark Lord within him!

We successfully shot the Satan scene of Shane of the Many Sorrows on Lottie’s 4th birthday, the 17th! Here she is a distinguished 4 year old next to the picture of her at 6 months that the rescue agency sent us when we got her.
And today was a year from the day we shot the second scene of the movie

Thank you old friend @peterquinn100 for whipping up this tasty official poster for the tiny feature film that has tossed me in my fever dreams for years now! Thank you to everyone who has helped & indulged me. Baltimore has so many inspired, kind & half-crazed artists!

I’ve got some amazing friends. Saintly und giggly Amanda spent two hours applying amazing makeup and wig for a role in “Shane of the Many Sorrows” THEN drove all the way from Lancaster in character.
But I am not a complete amateur filmmaker, I treated her and Everly to lunch at Doppio.

We shot the grand finale of “Shane of the Many Sorrows” Sunday and it was ethereal and electric beyond my NyQuil dreams! It’s killing me to not post production pictures but I want to keep the last two scenes secret so that whoever may end up seeing it will hopefully be hit with some juicy

Really looking forward to this event! Many of my poems lean into horror for sure. When I first started writing with “serious intent” at 12 I wrote horror stories. My first publication was my story “The Man In The Green Suit” in elementary school.

Sometimes “at work” I get to listen to great writers read their work. I got an extra thrill when i caught DC poet Bernard Welt complimenting my poetry on video! Plus we had four poets in the house who are in the new Best American Poetry 2025 anthology edited by Terence Winch.

one is in exceptional shape.
Leo has bibliomania running through his pale veins.
And on top of that, Leo’s crafty pal Rayne - featured in the upcoming holiday romp, “Shane of the Many Sorrows” made me a stuffed Lottie carrying 4 leaf clovers. The kids are alright. When they’re not

Still squeezing some last joy fizzes from my big Medicare birthday. Young Leo of the untamed mane, who I love like another man’s son, truly made me exclaim with shock when he produced this rare beauty from his Grateful Dead Neck Pouch Hemp Bag! The first collection of Ernest Noyes Brookings poems,

RIP Bruce Loose. I saw Flipper at the 9:30 Club in 1982 and wasn’t entirely sure at first what I was seeing - and not just because my young self took mescaline “to help stay up” after work night shift. Slow motion roiling shaped infectious chaos. I’d never seen pictures of them before, my friend who
