Kobold cult 🕯️🐲

King's Rock 👑 (the end!)

A black and white comic strip featuring Pokemon. This is a continuation of a plot where Vaporeon gets bitten by a Shellder and turns into a Slowking fusion. In panel 1, Vapking sits down next to baby Azurill and says "This reminds me of an excerpt from Platotodile's Symposium. Sit, my child, and I will tell you." Azurill says "I'm alweady sitting..."
In panel 2, Vapking says "In it, the philosopher Clefairistophones posits that, once, Pokemon were two souls in one body. But then, Arceus split us in twain."
In panel 3, Vapking says "Thus, we are condemned to spend our lives in search of our other halves. Like Shellder and I. Isn't that beautiful?" Azurill looks at her blankly.
In panel 4, Azurill replies, "But didn't Platotodiwe awso say, in the Phaedrus, Love is a form of divine madness."? Vapking looks completely surprised and puzzled, and only manages to reply "... uhhhh."

In panel 3, Watchog inspects Vapking, looking perplexed. Her hand is on her chin and her tail is twitching. She says "I've seen this before... but never a case so severe. This calls for desperate measures."
In panel 4, Riolu looks worried, and says "It won't hurt her, will it?" Watchog folders her arms and says "Son, I am going to peel that Shellder off her dome like the lid on a can of beans." Vapking's eyes pop open wide, and she begins to sweat.

In panel 2, the Shellder suddenly comes off Vapking's head with a POP. Vap looks shocked.
In panel 3, Vap falls to her hands and knees with huge wet soggy eyes, and wails "NOOOOOOOO... my wisdom... my knowledge... Sawkrates, Confushinx, Sun Tzubat, Carkol Marx... all abandoning me, never to return..." Watchog looks on seriously, holding a tired Shellder in her hands.
In panel 4, Vap's expression suddenly becomes unfocused and simple. She lifts her head slightly, and says "... Do you guys wanna go get burgers?" Azurill looks on with a smile. Watchog declares, "She's back to normal."
