I'd had a Twitter account (and still have an Instagram account) to promote my dumb lil' local blog. I get exponentially more traffic from Bluesky than ever I did from Twitter or Instagram, and I like to think that it's because the folks here are generally cooler.

Yep, completely ignoring facts and truth because we're "supposed to" vote Republican. It's exhausting trying to even have conversations deeper than sports or weather because they're SO far into their own little bubbles

A - it's inconvenient for them
B - they're told it's Fake News by the likes of Sean Hannity all day long on the radio (or from memes on Facebook these days)
C - when they were youngsters, they heard "it's gonna be the next ice age"
