i love stede so much, just adore him, root for him every step of the way, favorite guy of all time. that said mary was absolutely justified for the murder attempt from the very first "and the kids did that?" and she was very brave for not killing him on the spot so many times. get him girl

crazy how watching ed and stede’s first kiss STILL gives me a visceral reaction even after I’ve seen it thousands and thousands of times.
