also big fan of these mages, they're basically an early version of the Black Rose! Leblanc with the green highlights screams LoR to me, but I'm not a fan of the classic headpiece turning into a mask xD

As for an actual answer to their question: While parts of the lore present in Akali's story and the Zed comic are referenced in the new comics, there's not enough there to know for certain if all the events of those stories remain unchanged - we don't know if they're canon

I'm not against them reusing art... but it's clear that a card's gameplay always comes first and then they pick an artwork that loosely matches it and then the flavor never ends up matching the source, these are the consequences of not investing in new art... (2/2)
