If/when we ever get out of this mess and Dems gain control of Congress & the WH, there has to be a well-funded “moonshot”-type education program to teach logic and critical thinking from grade 1 to thru college. Otherwise, we are going to quickly “wash, rinse, repeat” ourselves back into fascism.
I feel sympathy and anger that critical thinking is not being taught in the schools or in the home. This is intentional by the government but parents are abdicating their responsibility too.

On the contrary I think it’s easy to say who is responsible for spreading a disease that was effectively eliminated through vaccination: it’s the people who eliminated the vaccination mandates
One of the better reasons why you force people to get vaccinated rather than leave it up to individual choice is that it's difficult to figure out who is responsible for spreading a disease to someone. You can't find and punish individual reckless acts like you can with, say, drunk driving.
