Woke, Guardian reading snowflake
No chance of our right winger Farago doing that when he becomes PM!

Big Brother is still a thing??

I’m a big fan of the Seahawk Rams

Still getting a lot of mileage out of this.

My wife and I have a quiet battle of wills over this - I am with you and correct her ‘paper down the back’ error constantly!

Gotcha! This is clearly false …Trump would have no idea who Eleanor of Aquitaine was !
November 13, 2025 at 6:27 PM
Weren’t the same claims made for Dom Cummings back in the day ?
November 13, 2025 at 4:56 PM
Sadly it won’t .

There is a smoking gun and Trumpet’s reputation will take a bit of a hit, but, hey, it’s already normalised and baked-in that he’s a shitbag so will ride this out like everything else - like mocking the disabled, grabbing women by the pussy, inciting riot etc etc

But sadly that’s the get out isn’t it ? Lots of people knew what Epstein was up to

That first album …

Robert Fripp is still going strong - and married to Toyah Wilcox (whose name will mean a lot to Brits but nothing to most Americans)

And even in that era who else could put an LP out called Larks tongues in aspic?!

A shocking figure , but sadly not a surprising one

A really tough time: he’s a family member .

Thinking of you and sending my best wishes

It was of its era

She was - and it’s a great film

I know Vertigo is always seen as Hitch’s masterpiece , but I have always preferred this as the premise was so unusual , but worked in spades

Hurrah.

When Cameron introduced these it was purely political: he saw it as a Trojan Horse to get Tories elected into city areas where they lacked MPs and councillors i.e. Tory Commissioners would be elected as party seen as strong on law and order

Result: political placemen and cronies abound

Takes him up to his 40th year so this may be his last contract. Hope he does well

I think it’s worse than that. Within my own wider family, when I have pointed out that a vote for Reform is a vote against their own best interests as beneficiaries of the welfare state I get a shrug and a, ‘but he is going to stop immigrants coming here, blah blah’

Not a unique view sadly!

And more generally, they want to shrink the state, as well as NHS that has implications across the entire welfare system: child and adult social care, special needs education provision, concepts of paid sickness absence, current levels of provision of paid maternity/ parental leave & state pension

England must not even contemplate playing both Archer and Wood in the test matches, the chances of either getting through five days is minimal - as the latest Wood injury scare shows

This made me laugh out loud . Plus ca change, I remember under Gordon Brown no 10 viciously briefing against chancellor Alistair Darling , Brown claimed horror and not to know anything about !

Of course the truth came out after the 2010 election

And journalists, like the rest of us, have rent or mortgages to pay…
November 13, 2025 at 8:34 AM
But those same individuals want that here. They want themselves and their rich pals to get their noses in the trough without it being reported. One thing that is nailed on if Deform win the next election: in name of cutting red tape there will be a bonfire of ethics and anti- corruption regulation
