finished the plaster texture using a noise texture.

Next is the landscape and then done!

Did some more texturing on the Medieval house.

Progress is so slow, only able to work about 30minutes a day.

Alan Wake:

This game is worth a playthrough just for the cozy PNW forest vibes. The small towns, the characters, the landscapes. Beautiful.

Almost always on sale for an incredibly low price on steam.

It's in my top 10!

This is very confusing, 1st day of drawing freehand.

VERY different from Blender 3D
November 9, 2025 at 3:48 AM
I know a little bit about 3D but i never learned how to draw freehand.

I was at the thrift store and found this old book that reminded me of my grandmother. Adjusted for inflation, it looks like a good deal!

Lets see what we can do.

I tried to recreate the Pokemon blue starting bedroom.

It's the game I wish I could go back and replay for the first time.

I'm so glad I don't lift these up and break them down for work anymore.

Wake up every day, get lost in the filing cabinet maze, go to bed.

Another old model, same story.

Why didn't they tell anyone about any of these things?

Apparently they built a store, social network, and a whole bunch of other things and didn't tell anyone. Then it failed?

I don't get it.
I legitimately didn't know they were competing with Steam and it's crazy to me that they burnt so much money on what sounds like something with very little (or wildly misguided) market research.

An old render, but a good one.

Before McDonalds became a grey meat cube.

I miss the PS1 so much.

Less left room for more.

Some old #pixelart on #screenshotsaturday

I am building up the courage to make prints for a con.

Today's blender class was on making modular assets.

I learned how to change object color to random to better see individual pieces!

Learning to make some trees in #b3d #blender

I really don't like how they turned out but it was a good tutorial.

I took the advice of a writer friend and put 3 stories that I wrote in June into a cabinet until today.

Next is having beta readers look them and then submit them for publication.

I have two people helping me read them, but if anyone wants to read, please let me know!

Thanks.

Nintendo GameCube released officially in Japan 24 years ago!

It's wild to think it's been 24 years. I remember getting on AOL and looking at photos of Luigi's Mansion and "Mario 128" on Nintendo's website. Once I got one, I immediately loved it. Still do.

Share some of YOUR GameCube memories!
