🚨 The Lenacapavir Early Access Programme has closed to new patients. This life-saving #HIV treatment is now out of reach for those who need it most.

We urge NHS England & Gilead to act now. Access to Lenacapavir must be restored. Urgently.

Community organisations: speak up. Silence costs lives.

Recent claims linking autism to Tylenol or vaccines are not supported by science.

We stand firmly against misinformation that fuels stigma, fear, and distrust in healthcare. Our community values evidence-based information, respect for lived experience, and the right to safe, informed care.

UK HIV care for #transgender and non-binary people: comment on #EHRC guidelines by 30th June.

This is a really important opportunity to tell the EHRC why their guidance is unworkable.

Find guidance from @transactualuk.bsky.social‬ and others via our link to help you respond.
Colourful i-Base graphic. The main text reads: Support trans rights. Respond to the EHRC consultation by end of Monday. At the top is i-Base’s website address: I hyphen base dot info. At the bottom it says, subscribe by email. A smaller, tilted square graphic on the right, reads: HTB news. 2025. HIV treatment, prevention, access, and more. The colours used in the image are two shades of light blue, magenta, dark purple, light pink, lilac, teal, dark blue, light green, orange, mustard, red, and white.

🚨 Gilead’s lenacapavir could be a game-changer for #HIV — but at $28K/year, it’s priced out of reach for most.

Generics could cost <$50.

We’re calling on Gilead to make it affordable for all, not just the privileged few.

Please find UK-CAB public response below.

📢 #NHSEngland has updated the TAF prescribing policy – mainly to clarify eligibility & introduce a simple approval form (Blueteq).

✅ No changes to patient access.
📄 Clinicians just need to submit a tick-box form.

More updates on ART prescription coming soon – we will keep you posted.

UK #lenacapavir Early Access Programme closed to new referrals as @england.nhs.uk and #Gilead fail to agree a price after more than two years:

i-base.info/htb/50940

NHS England took responsibility for approving access to this life-saving drug – this delay and result is unacceptable.

Photo of a riso print, on a colourful i-Base graphic. The title of the print reads: The Denver Principles, which is fluro pink on white. 1983 is written in big, blue bubble lettering, vertically and intersecting with the title. The subheading, in blue text, reads: Statement from the Advisory Committee of the People with AIDS, 1983. The rest of the text is too small to read but can be found via the linked article. I dash base dot info is in white on a pink background in the top left corner. Orange text on dark blue in the bottom left corner, reads: print available to buy! The background of the image is coloured blocks of mustard, grey-blue, a medium cool blue, and a grey-purple. A line of bright pink circles is in the left corner of the graphic, with pale blue ones mirroring these in the top right corner. There are various coloured dots in the image. UK-CAB deeply concerned about GSK/ViiV diversity policy implications globally, despite UK/EU assurances.

Erosion anywhere sets a dangerous precedent. Our community is alarmed by US policy shifts & PEPFAR threats.

New @abpi.bsky.social guidance risks excluding #HIV advocates from conferences — suggesting we’re too “impressionable” to hear about treatments.

We reject this.

People with HIV are informed, critical partners in progress.
