Congratulations to Dr Georgia Stanley on passing her PhD viva this morning! Georgia’s title was ‘The Second Rape: An Investigative Analysis of Rape Myth Narratives in Courtroom and Media Discourses’. Examiners congratulated Georgia on her excellent, well-researched and well-presented thesis!

Today, we welcomed Dr Alison Gardner and Dr Rachel Clawson from the Rights Lab at the University of Nottingham for a roundtable discussion with practitioners working on modern slavery, human trafficking, and adult safeguarding. The discussion followed on from research conducted by the Rights Lab.
