I imagine what I’m going to do with it or where it will go, therefore helping my brain recognize it’s a purchase I want/need. For example, I save up for a really cool artwork and buy it. I feel bad for spending money on it. But I then say “it’s going to hang up here, it’s gonna be cool”.
